Bryan,

I would suggest reading "The Fourth Turning" by Neil Howe and William Strauss. It is a dense read, but worth the effort. It starts around 1500 in describing the cycles we see today. Go to my "Start Here" page to get an overview of some of their work. And I would love to see a post on your blog about your current studies.

Again... interesting... what do I need to read. I like what you're on to. I've been totally focused on the first and early renaissance (1000-1200) and the rise of early Christianity to 500. Fascinating and focused... I could go on. Maybe I need a blog post on it?
